SVSU Theatre presents Noel Coward comedy 'Blithe Spirit'
The Saginaw Valley State University theatre department will present a play about a writer who is haunted by the ghost of his late wife in producing Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit." The SVSU production opens Wednesday, Nov. 19 with 7:30 p.m. performances through Saturday, Nov. 22. It concludes with a matinee Sunday, Nov. 23 at 3 p.m. All shows are held in the Malcolm Field Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Students to perform in SVSU's 'The Grapes of Wrath'
Saginaw Valley State University's Department of Theatre will produce the play, "The Grapes of Wrath," to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the novel.
This 1990 Tony Award and Outer Critics Circle Award winning play follows the Joad family in their journey from the dust bowl of Oklahoma.

730 New Undergraduate Students Enroll at The University of Findlay
The University of Findlay is welcoming approximately 730 new undergraduate students this fall. Findlay's fall first-time, full-time entering class is 6.5 percent larger than last fall's class and the University's total enrollment is up 8.5 percent - 3,956, compared to 3,645 students last fall.

Students Receive Merit Scholarships for Academic Achievement
The University of Findlay announces Merit Scholarship awards, which are based on a student's final, cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) and ACT/SAT scores. Scholarships are awarded beginning with the freshman year and are renewable for up to four years (for a total of five years of scholarship aid). Merit scholarships for transfer students are based on the student's GPA from all previous college-level institutions.

'Death of a Salesman' Coming to SVSU Theatre
The Saginaw Valley State University theatre department will present the play, "Death of a Salesman," April 10-14. The play will be performed to the public at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 through Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m. in the Malcolm Field Theatre for Performing Arts.This play is a great example of "Classic American Theatre". It focuses on the inability to realize the American Dream. Arthur Miller is the author and it's directed by Steven C. Erickson.
